???

Yes they are knitted and this is the before picture, can you guess what these will be with a little rubbing and lovin' from my washing machine????

Taadaa!
This is one of my most favorite patterns to knit. It is done with 2 strands at a time and knits up very quickly. It is so cool that something soft and floppy can, with a little warm water and friction, become a rugged durable shoe (realized midway through that sentence that I would have to watch myself).

I knit up a felted moc slipper that is great for kids cause it does not slip off :)

I'm so impressed! I really should take up knitting like every other woman I know on the planet!

I am so impressed. I am so seriously lacking in the domestic department. I can't even sew on a button.

Maybe when I grow up....I will have some sort of sewing talent...OR NOT! :)

So ummm....can you knit some ballet like slippers for my wedding? Cuz those look way more comfy than what I bought.

I totally don't understand these physics. It's like sublimation.

Would you look at that?! It's truly magic to me as knitting is one thing I've never mastered. I love the end result! They look so comfy.

Chelle-It is Fiber Trends' felted clog pattern. They have it for adult and kid sizes. These are great and comfy..

Nikki-I was trying not to use the word stiff...

Jennifer-thanks! Knitting does seem to be making a come back.

Phoeninx-No doubt-I always forget about google when I write a post...have had some humdingers find me.

Queen-I can not sew...I have a machine and unless the kids need something that is rectangular or square they are out of luck.

Margaret-they acutally have a pattern for ballet shoes!

KC-felting is more about the friction than the hot water. It is amazing to watch it go from soft and loose to a dense durable fabric.

Rocking Pony-I love felting, I had never done it and have fallen in love. Am trying crochet and am having a very hard time with it.

Aimee-too cool, but I have to find some wool that does not smell like butt when it is wet...
